I am a Full Professor (HDR) at IMT-Atlantique, one of the France's top engineering schools.
I am a member of the BRAIn team within the Lab-STICC laboratory (CNRS), which I currently coordinate. Our work concerns machine learning under constraints, with applications to vision, natural language and neuroimaging.

My research concerns deep learning under constraints: limited computation, limited energy, limited data. It covers model compression, pruning and quantization, data curation and coreset selection, and the deployment of learning systems on embedded hardware. A recurring question in this work is how much of a model's performance can be retained once its computational and data footprint has been substantially reduced.
Application domains include computer vision, natural language processing and neuroimaging. Most of this work is carried out collectively within the team and with academic collaborators, and is published in open access.
